Last updated: July 22, 2026

Jimmy's Glass ("we," "us," or "our") operates jimmys-glass.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you visit our website or submit a project consultation request.

Information We Collect

We may collect the following types of information:

  • Contact and project information you provide through our consultation form, such as your name, email address, phone number, city or neighborhood, project type, scope, timeline, and any notes or photos you choose to share.
  • Communications if you call, email, or otherwise contact us directly.
  • Usage and device information collected automatically when you browse our site, such as pages viewed, referring URLs, browser type, and general location derived from your IP address — but only if you accept analytics cookies (see below).

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to consultation and estimate requests and communicate about your project
  • Schedule site visits, provide quotes, and deliver our services
  • Send text messages to customers who have opted in (see Text Messaging below)
  • Improve our website and understand how visitors use it
  • Comply with legal obligations and protect against fraud or abuse

We do not sell your personal information. We do not sell or share subscriber phone numbers with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Text Messaging (SMS) Program

Jimmy's Glass sends low-volume, mixed-content SMS to customers who submit a request through our website estimate form and who separately opt in to receive text messages from us.

Types of messages. Messages may include transactional updates such as quote confirmations, appointment reminders, and service status notices, along with occasional promotional messages such as seasonal discounts or service offers.

Opt-in. SMS consent is collected through a clearly labeled checkbox on our website estimate form. The checkbox is unchecked by default and is separate from our Terms & Conditions agreement. Checking the box is not required to submit the form or receive a quote. By opting in, you authorize Jimmy's Glass to send text messages to the mobile number you provide.

Opt-out and help. Every message includes the business name ("Jimmy's Glass") and a clear opt-out instruction. You may reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time. Reply HELP for support. After you send STOP, we will send a confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and you will no longer receive SMS from us unless you opt in again.

Frequency and charges. Message frequency varies. We send SMS at low volume relative to the size of our customer base. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.

No sharing of mobile numbers. We do not share or sell subscriber phone numbers to third parties. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes. Text messaging may be delivered through a compliant messaging platform that processes messages on our behalf solely to operate the program.

Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party providers to operate parts of our website. These providers may process data on our behalf:

  • Consultation form — Our project consultation form is hosted by a third-party lead management platform. Information you submit through that form is transmitted to and stored by that provider according to their terms and privacy practices.
  • Analytics and advertising measurement — We use the Google tag (Google Analytics and Google Ads) to measure site traffic, interactions such as page views and phone link clicks, and consultation requests that come from our advertising. These tags run through Google Tag Manager with Google Consent Mode: until you accept analytics cookies, they store nothing on your device and send only anonymous, cookieless measurement signals. Accepting enables cookie-based analytics and advertising measurement.
  • Live chat — We use a third-party chat widget so you can message us directly from the website. Messages and any information you share through chat are handled according to that provider's terms and privacy practices.
  • Hosting — Our website is hosted on Vercel. Standard server logs may include IP addresses and request metadata necessary to deliver the site securely.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use essential cookies required for the site to function. With your consent, we also use analytics cookies to understand how visitors use our website. You can accept or decline analytics cookies using the banner shown on your first visit. You can change your preference at any time using the "Cookie Settings" link in our site footer.

Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion of personal information we hold (subject to certain exceptions), and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. As stated above, we do not sell personal information.

To exercise these rights, contact us using the information below. We will verify your request and respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.

Data Retention

We retain consultation, estimate, and contact information for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry, provide services, maintain business records, and comply with legal obligations. SMS opt-in records and message-related data are retained as required for compliance and customer service. Analytics data is retained according to our analytics provider's settings.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's Privacy

Our website is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
